July 23 - From Home to Winthrop
I love to ride the North Cascades Highway, Route 20. BUT before going I ALWAYS check the road closure / condition and the fire conditions.
I always stop at Diablo Lake lookout, it is a good point to stop, has restrooms and never is a dissapointment for a good picture:
Arrived at the hotel in Winthrop and had a beautiful view of the Methow Valley:
July 24 - From Winthrop to Coeur d'Alene
Stopped to look at Chief Joseph Dam:

July 25 - Trip to Lake Coeur d'Alene

July 27 - Ride around Lake Pend O'Reille
Decided to ride around Lake Pend O'Reille. Took this pisture right before the rain moved in, I heard a little thunder:
July 28 - From Coeur d'Alene to Home
JUST before I crossed over the Cascades I stopped at a rest area and got a picture of Mt. Rainier off in the distance (the small white bubble on the left bottom of the picture) and a windmill:
