Motorcycle Trip Through The Cascades On Chinook Pass Washington State

By the time you get to Chinook Pass, highway 410 you have been in the mountains, seen AMAZING scenery and looked at Mot Ranier for a long time. BE SURE to look at the pass information statement for Chinook Pass, it usually doesn't open until the last week or so in May. Make sure that your ride is later in the day, as you can see from the below clip snow melts during the day and you don't want to hit the pass early in the morning when that melted water has turned to ice overnight. A 15 minute clip I took that shows you the views and the snow that was just cleared. At 5:01 in the clip you will see the triangular area in the below pictures in front of and off to the right of the camera where 123 and highway 410 split:
